Thai Travel Guide
Getting Around
You can travel to Thailand from the UK at a fairly good price. It usually takes 14 -24 hours depending on the stopover. It took me 15 hours this included connecting flight in Dubai both there and back, surprisingly found that the layover enabled me to rest before the next flight.
We would highly commend flying with Emirates, the journey there and back was comfortable and the food was excellent. A good tip is to keep an eye during sale periods i.e. January and Summer sales as they have terrific deals.
If you are adventurous, why not arrive in style by using the motorbike taxis. So much fun and you avoid a lot of Bangkok city traffic.
Accommodation
There are so many different places to see and stay in Thailand; we would recommend planning and doing some research before you travel. We spent 16 days in Thailand, divided between Bangkok (3 days), Krabi (5 days) and Phuket (6 days) - all very different areas but equally captivating and pleasant to experience.
MUST: Kemaala Resort offers a range of villas from tree house pool to bird nest pool. We wanted to stay there for a few days but unfortunately due to a last minute changes I was unable to get a booking due to high volume and popularity.
